St Mary’s is a community of Christians worshipping together in Mornington. Our life as Church means serving, worshipping and learning together – as well as spending time together in fellowship as an extended family, deepening our faith and broadening our community.
This group had its origins in an inspirational talk by one of our parishioners (Brian Miller) based on his recent experiences in Whitby, Wellington. Since May last year we have met every 2nd Saturday of each month between 8.30 and 9.30am in St Anne’s Hall (Whitby Street) for fellowship over a 5-course breakfast, during which we have had a variety of guest speakers. A wide range of subjects have been covered. All men and their children from anywhere are welcome to come along to this breakfast.
Fellowship groups meet regularly for a variety of activities, including eating together, listening to visiting speakers and outings around the city. We also gather to learn more about the word of God and the way faith works in our world, with study groups available periodically.
